“What if the “New Normal” of COVID-19 means that all future trials will be held virtually? Bottom line, virtual courtroom or not, the demands of our industry require you to connect at an even greater level. No matter what. There is no excuse if you fail to emotionally connect whether the world is in person or virtual.

On January 14th, Trial School will be hosting a 4-Hour Virtual Directing Presentation with Mel Orchard and Jesse Wilson. In this groundbreaking webinar, Mel and Jesse will apply fundamental directing and storytelling techniques to help you discover and deliver the winning story to judges, mediators, and most importantly, jurors. In this presentation, instead of using a stage, we will explore the platform of Zoom.

The truth is, “the New Normal” could be “the Lasting Normal.” We could easily be presenting cases using technology in the foreseeable months and perhaps years to come. It will be critical to dramatically use one’s space, no matter where that is, to connect more powerfully with one’s audience. When we see that our compass as a storyteller for the courtroom stage has more to do with our greater ability to direct the movement of the story, instead of just telling a story, we expand the potential to move people. In this webinar, you’ll be provided with simple, powerful, easily accessible, and real directing methods to command both the Zoom stage and courtroom stage.

Following their presentation, Mel & Jesse will utilize the Q&A portion of the webinar to address and discuss topics pertaining to your clients and situations you may have encountered when navigating through virtual courtroom experiences.
