J. Clancey Bounds, the founder of Bounds Law Group, has litigated cases in multiple states including Florida, California, Arizona, New Jersey, North Carolina, and Georgia.

Clancey is an accomplished trial lawyer whose practice involves primarily Medical Negligence Litigation. He has been listed as a Super Lawyers “Rising Star” in the area of medical malpractice litigation. Clancey has obtained many multi-million-dollar verdicts and settlements for his clients including his first million-dollar verdict at the age of 30.

John F. Kennedy once said, “a rising tide lifts all boats”. As a Trial School Faculty Member, Clancey’s motivation to educate younger and less experienced lawyers is founded on this belief of a shared network of spreading knowledge with the hopes of lifting each other up. Clancey hopes Trial School members inherit, at least, one solid gold strategy to be implemented in their trial strategies.

Contrariwise, Clancey hopes to gain insight, wisdom, and perspective from his peers. As he puts it, there is nothing more essential than sharing, “that one idea, that one turn of phrase, that I have not the ability to contrive for my want of their insight, wisdom, and perspective”.
